There is practically nothing more than the bare minimum clickable content here. What's bad, is that there is so very little to *interact* with. Sure the game is pretty in a two-generations-behind-the-curve kind of way, but that's not so bad. The environments are graphically pretty though. You can shift to a very leisurely jogging speed most of the time, but even this is denied in certain places. Sorry, I meant *walking* around, because the developer seems afraid we might hurt ourselves if we were allowed to move from point A to point B without watching our steps carefully. It does take a long time to play, but that time is mostly spent running around endlessly in the same few dull environments. More than anything else, Chapters is a snorefest. I may have enjoyed the predecessor games a lot, and I may have helped crowd funding Dreamfall Chapters hoping for an enjoyable continuation to the franchise. Dreamfall Chapters is such a thing - it's a fanboy magnet. Some things in life get an undeserved high score on metacritic just because they have a small clique of zealous supporters, while people with Some things in life get an undeserved high score on metacritic just because they have a small clique of zealous supporters, while people with a more balanced opinion don't even review it, since the thing in question just isn't important enough to merit their attention. at the end theres not much to keeo me wanting to get back for more despite the fact i loved the previous games.

the beginning of the game had promise more. nothing intresting to keep me on toes happens. ull be running from point a to point b and back, running takes forever by the way. Ull have sort of an escrot mission with a robot which is plain boring. First of all the graphics are fine, but has its fps drops, the game's pacing is super slow, didnt find the character interactions too intresting, you roam through a city endlessly using the same routes again and again and again. While I have to agree with a lot of people that the voice acting is good, it lacks in other very important areas. Played The longest journey Dreamfall before and loved it this game however got repetetive and pretty boring fast. Red Thread had hoped to make a proper Longest Journey sequel too and set it as a Kickstarter stretch goal but fell $500k short. 2006's Dreamfall is a side-story of a sequel and the Chapters were planned to finish that off.
